Château Mauvesin Barton

Château Mauvesin Barton is a wine estate situated in the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation. It was purchased in 2011 by the Barton family, who already owned the Langoa and Léoville Barton Grands Crus Classés in Saint-Julien, Médoc.
This beautiful 220-hectare estate, comprising 52 hectares of vineyards in a single block, is a haven of peace just a stone’s throw from the Route du Médoc. The magnificent château, dating from 1853, is surrounded by grounds featuring century-old trees. The gravity-fed wine-making facility was built from scratch when the family took over, and the two stone cellars have been renovated to house the French oak barrels. A range of tour options are available from Monday to Friday.
